Aunt Mary's Journals

When my husband's aunt passed away in the 1990s, she left behind a box of small diaries. David and I were given seven of these little books.Mary was a simple, God-fearing woman. She was quiet and rarely expressed herself on any subject of discussion and kept her feelings close to her own chest. But day by day she would record the high points of her life. What a delight it has been to see how she went about in her quiet way at the same time rejoicing in the work of her hands that God had established for her !

"May the favor of our God rest upon us ; establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the works of our hands." Psalm 90:17

I plan on sharing her journals here on this blog. And I pray that you will see her love for God, family , friends ,her strength and in her own way , wisdom .
